Also, kakadu plum contains anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce skin irritation, redness, and infection. This super-fruits’ use in skin care helps to fade age spots, scars and provide even skin tone. The presence of Gallic Acid in it may helps to slow down the ageing process and prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

Actives
Hyaluronic Acid occurs naturally in the body and generally decreases with age. In the skin it exists in the epidermis and keeps the skin hydrated and supple due to its high water retention ability.
Hyaluronic acid helps retain over 1,000 times its weight in water within the cells of skin, making it an excellent moisturiser therefore it can help increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Topical treatments can soothe redness and dermatitis.
As we age our production naturally decreases and we begin to notice alterations in our skin such as wrinkling or dry skin. A product containing Hyaluronic Acid would be beneficial for mature or dry skin to help restore smoothness and elasticity of the skin.
Activated charcoal is an especially porous charcoal with extremely high absorbance capacity making it great for skin care products related to detoxing/purifying such as masks and cleansers. It adsorbs (attracts and holds) oils, toxins and impurities from the skin leaving it deeply clean and refreshed without feeling stripped or dry.
Allantoin has traditionally been demonstrated to promote new cell growth, act as a strong anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant and may help to repair tissue damage when applied topically.
A natural regenerating & protecting agent that helps with dry, damaged or chapped skin by sealing in moisture.
It is traditionally used to promote wound healing and tissue repair and may help in the treatment of skin ulcers, wounds, burns, sunburns, acne and skin eruptions, eczema and psoriasis because it softens skin and protects living skin cells.
Sodium phytate is used as a chelating agent. Chelating agents help your preservatives to work better and help improve your products overall stability.

Rosehip oil is also known as rosehip seed oil. It’s derived from the rosa canina rose bush, which is grown mostly in Chile. Unlike rose oil, which is extracted from rose petals, rosehip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant.
Rosehip oil contains a wealth of essential fatty acids, including linoleic and linolenic acid. Fatty acids help to keep cell walls strong so that they don’t lose water.
Rosehip oil is high in vitamins A and C. Vitamin A, or retinol, encourages skin cell turnover. Vitamin C also aids in cell regeneration, boosting overall radiance. Both of these vitamins are necessary for the production of collagen. Vitamin A, or retinoids, are known for their ability to reduce hyperpigmentation and other visible signs of ageing with regular use.
Avocado oil is a great addition to a beard care routine because it offers several benefits for facial hair. Grapeseed oil is used as a base oil for many creams and lotions. It is the preferred carrier oil for many massage therapists because of its light, satin like finish. It also has some astringent qualities and is good for oily, acne prone skin.
Surfactants
Coco glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant (foaming agent, conditioner or emulsifier). It is derived from coconut oil and fruit sugars which are both renewable resources.
Lauryl glucoside is a plant-based surfactant produced by combining palm/coconut oils with corn glucose. It works as a very mild cleansing surfactant, helping to disperse the other ingredients while ensuring that soil or food can be easily rinsed and removed. Due to its mild properties, lauryl glucoside is known to be gentle on skin.
Clays
Bentonite clay is rich in minerals, including calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which nourish and revitalize the skin. It also helps to improve the overall texture and tone of the skin, leaving it looking brighter and smoother.

Vitamins
Panthenol works in a variety of ways. Panthenol has been known to improve damaged hair. Panthenol works by improving effects of hair elasticity, moisture retention and flexibility. Panthenol, when it’s applied to hair, takes on a pro-vitamin form and converts into pantothenic acid. At this point, panthenol can penetrate your hair shaft as well as the root of your hair; thus giving your hair an extra boost of B vitamin which helps thicken your hair as well as promote hair growth.
Niacinamide has the ability to improve the appearance of your scalp and hair, especially when using topical products. Based on the fact that a reduction in blood flow can result in the thinning of hair, it makes sense that Niacinamide would be able to promote the look and feel of thicker hair. As stated in this study, the skin on your scalp is much like the skin everywhere else on your body, requiring select nutrients — in this case, Niacinamide.
Outside of positive hair health, B3 also yields many benefits associated with the skin. In fact, a B3 deficiency is typically characterised by problematic skin. Studies have shown that the topical application of Niacinamide can help reverse the signs of declining levels of key B3 enzymes. Whether you would like to minimize the appearance of your pores or simply protect your skin against oxidative stress, Niacinamide may assist.
Antioxidants
Cocoa powder is packed with vitamins, minerals, and all kinds of other goodness for your complexion. Topping the list are vitamin C and magnesium; the former is well-known for its antioxidant protection, spot fading, and collagen-boosting properties, the latter is a mineral that generally does great things for your skin. Not only is magnesium anti-inflammatory and can help calm redness (a good option for acne-prone skin, to that point), it also helps your skin function better overall.
Pomegranate powder has various benefits for skincare. First, it is rich in antioxidants that help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals, which can lead to wrinkles and fine lines. Overall, pomegranate powder may lead to healthier and more radiant skin.
Humectants
Glycerine is what is called a humectant, meaning that it attracts water. When glycerine is applied to the skin, it seals in moisture that might otherwise escape. It also helps stop a product from drying out.
Exfoliators
Robusta coffee beans have a much higher caffeine content than the often used Arabica beans. Caffeine improves blood flow and is a powerful cellulite buster. It also increases collagen production, making skin look younger and feel firmer.
Sugar brightens and polishes the skin, whilst gently exfoliating. It removes dead skin cells and excess oil. Sugar contains glycolic acid to rejuvenate skin and help maintain a youthful glow by balancing the skins natural oils.
Thickeners
Carrageenan is a natural polysaccharide derived from red seaweed that is often used in skincare products for its moisturising, thickening and emulsifying properties. It has a high molecular weight and forms a protective layer on the skin’s surface, which helps to retain moisture and prevent dehydration. Carrageenan also helps to enhance the texture and stability of skincare formulations and can improve the absorption of other active ingredients. Additionally, carrageenan has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, making it useful for calming redness and irritation, and protecting the skin from environmental damage.
Acacia Senegal Gum and Xanthan Gum are two common skincare ingredients that often work together to provide hydration, lubrication, and other benefits to the skin. Acacia Senegal Gum is a natural gum derived from the sap of the African Acacia tree. It acts as a thickening and stabilizing agent in skincare products, helping to give them a smooth and luxurious texture.
Xanthan Gum, on the other hand, is a natural carbohydrate derived from the fermentation of sugar. It also acts as a thickener and a stabilizer but is often used in conjunction with Acacia Senegal Gum because they work well together to create a synergistic effect.
They are gentle and safe for most skin types.
Guar Hydroxypropyl Trimonium Chloride is commonly used as a conditioning agent in hair and skin care products due to its ability to provide positive benefits to the hair and skin. Guar Hydroxypropyl Trimonium Chloride helps to improve the overall texture and feel of the hair by reducing static electricity and aiding in detangling. It is also believed to help improve the hydration of the skin, making it feel smoother and softer, while also promoting a more even skin tone.
