Berry Booster Smoothie
Ingredients

- 1/2 banana (frozen for a thicker texture if desired)
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup spinach or kale (fresh or frozen)
- 1 serving of protein powder (minimal ingredients)
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (for added fiber and omega-3 fatty acids)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened mylk (I like flax, hemp or almond)
- 1/4 fresh or frozen avocado (sub for 1 Tbsp unsweetened nut butter)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (metabolic health)
- 1 inch fresh ginger (sub 1/2 tsp ginger powder-for better digestion)
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more milk for your desired consistency.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
