- 4 oz fresh ginger root
- 4 oz fresh turmeric root
- 8 Lemons (cut in half)
Add-ins:
- Raw honey
- Pepper…your choice (black, white, cayenne)
Instructions
1. Juice lemons in a separate bowl.
2. If using a juicer….just cut ginger and turmeric root with skin on (wash first) and run through the juicer. Add ginger/turmeric juice to lemon juice.
3. If using a blender. Wash ginger and turmeric root, peel with a peeler, cut into 2 inch pieces and put in blender with juiced lemon. Blend well. After blending run through a fine mesh strainer with a bowl or measuring cup under it.
4. After liquid is combined, add pepper and honey (optional).
5. I like to store in these 1 ounce glass shots (including link to purchase on Amazon, and reuse them).
6. They last in fridge about 5 days.
